A Russian beauty queen who married a Malaysian king has revealed new photos of their son, as she describes the couple’s whirlwind romance.
Ex-Miss Moscow Oksana Voevodina, 27, has taken to Instagram to proclaim her son as the ‘future King of Malaysia‘ and details of how the couple met through a mutual friend, a celebrity jeweller.
The pair are living in opulent Malaysian palaces, where her husband Sultan Muhammad V, 49, rules over the province of Kelantan despite his abdication from the throne in January.
Her Instagram page displays her life of luxury in Kuala Lumpur, her collection of diamond rings, tiaras and her faithful celebrations of Islamic festivals after she converted prior to the royal union.
She married Sultan Muhammad V in surprise ceremony at an elite Moscow concert hall last November and the monarch later abdicated after lurid details of his bride’s former life as a reality TV star surfaced.
She describes how when they first met he had introduced himself as the king of Malaysia and she, taking it for a joke, had replied, ‘I’m the queen of Moscow.’
Oksana shared this image on her Instagram early in June, writing: ‘Family and children are the most important things in this life. Take care of each other’
Oksana posted this picture of her pushing her son Leo in his pram in a Malaysian palace last month, writing: ‘Leo eats every 2.5 – 3 hours, he sleeps good, especially when it is fresh air outside and he enjoys cuddling very much. Actually he is wonderful and very calm child’

Despite rumours of marital strife in Russian media, the former beauty queen has posted recently about their blossoming family
In one recent post, she wrote warmly: ‘In May 2019, I gave birth to our son Ismail Leon, Inshallah His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Kelantan and, Inshallah, the future King of Malaysia.’
Inshallah means ‘God willing’ in Arabic and she has often referred to her faith in Allah in her writings.
Last month she shared a photo in Islamic headdress celebrating the Eid al-Fitr festival, ‘May Allah accept our Prayers, our Fast, our Ibadeh and our Dua,’ she wrote.

The expressions of devoted love for her husband have given no clues of marriage problems which had been widely rumoured by Russian media after she fell pregnant.
In several recent Instagram snaps she told new details of the ‘romantic’ story of her meeting with her husband, British-educated Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan, culminating in their lavish wedding ceremony.
‘We met in spring 2017 in Europe,’ she said. ‘At that time I cooperated with our common friend jeweller Jacob Arabo. After the event, we went for dinner, where I met a man, and he introduced himself as king of Malaysia.
‘I took it as a joke and joked back that I was also the queen of Moscow. We talked all evening and exchanged phone numbers. Soon news appeared about the appointment of the king, who was my new friend…’
Their mutual friend ‘Jacob the Jeweller’ Arabo is renowned for fashioning timeless pieces for Hip-Hop royalty. In Kanye West’s smash hit ‘Touch the Sky,’ West raps: ‘I went to Jacob an hour after I got my advance, I just wanted to shine.’
Oksana continued her swooning narrative on another Instagram post last month: ‘We continued our communication with my future husband by phone and called each other every day. We wanted to meet again somewhere very much.
‘But that was not possible because of my modelling contracts. And we lived far away in different parts of the world. Moreover one of the very famous companies for women’s clothing offered me a one-year contract outside Russia.’
This would take her to New York, she said.
Oksana shared this picture from her pregnancy, writing: ‘It was the most important and, at the same time, the most difficult period in my life’
Oksana shared this picture in May, writing: ’21 May 2019 – the Day, when my life was divided into “before” and “after”. Everything that I was told about the changes occurring with a woman after the birth of a baby is true. This love is special’

‘My future husband was very upset and asked me not to make any decision about that job before our meeting. Soon I received an invitation to visit Malaysia with my parents. So (I) went there with my mother.
‘We were really fascinated with this country and had great times all together. I will never forget the romantic evening when my future husband confessed that he felt in love with me from the first moment he saw me.
‘He told me that he loved our conversations and would like me to become his wife. That was the beginning of our beautiful love story.
‘Now Malaysia is the native land of my son, and I’m very happy when I look at our baby that I made the right choice that time.’

Pictures posted to her Instagram account have been accompanied by captions describing how the pair met in the spring of 2017 and their subsequent romance
She has continued to share glamorous photos from their wedding which took place in the Russian capital on November 22 last year
In another recent posting in English, she reveals her biography – including a spell studying in Oxford learning English without mentioning her alleged ‘sex in the pool’ escapade on a Russian reality TV show.
In a posting last month she wrote: ‘The man who really loves his woman will do everything for his beloved one. Love and taking care is the base for strong and healthy relationship.
‘A good husband will always support and be nice with his wife. Always is interested how does she feel and takes care of her, if she is tired. Always 100% keeps his promises.
‘Always takes responsibility for the family and doesn’t put this responsibility on his wife’s shoulders. During pregnancy he would give his wife increased attention, gifts and care.
‘Relationships are based on how can people support and understand each other. Family is the result of the work of two people who can give love gratuitously.’
She posted her first Instagram photo in early June, announcing: ‘Welcome to my Official Instagram page. I will be happy to share with you the moments of my life. Greetings to all of you and thank you for your support!’

The sultan was Malaysia’s 15th king and the first to abdicate in the nation’s history, which operates a unique rotating monarchy system.
Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah of central Pahang state was named Malaysia’s new king.
Nine ethnic Malay state rulers take turns serving as Malaysia’s king for five-year terms under the world’s only such system, which has been maintained since the country’s independence from Britain in 1957.
