With just two days to go until Halloween, Britons have already begun preparing their outfits for a night of spooky antics – with eccentric costumes including children dressed as Boris Johnson and a woman wearing an avocado.
Thousands up and down the country are expected to dress up over the coming days for the annual celebration of all things frightening and ghoulish.
And creative fans have already started trying on their outfits ahead of Thursday, with costumes including dogs dressed in Momo masks and witches – with one even referencing the Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy feud.
While elsewhere, someone has decided to recycle their wedding dress and use it as an outfit this year, saying: ‘Thanks to my ex I have one great Halloween costume this year’.
It comes as research by Beano found the Prime Minister is the tenth most topical option for families at Halloween this year, on a list topped by Pennywise the clown from IT 2, with Spider-Man in second place.
