Bam Margera arrested for drunken rant at a Los Angeles hotel … after seeking emergency therapy session with Dr. Phil following family crisis

Former MTV star Bam Margera is behind bars following a drunken incident at a Los Angeles hotel on Wednesday night.

The LAPD was called to the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel after the 39-year-old reportedly threw a fit, according to The Blast

Margera is said to have demanded a room and when he was told by staff that nothing was available, he refused to leave the premises until he got one which prompted an employee to call to cops.

Authorities said they found the skateboarder in a ‘highly-intoxicated’ state and took him into custody around midnight.

The outlet reported that the troubled celebrity was officially booked around 2:30AM and ‘charged with a misdemeanor trespassing and is currently being held on $1,000 bail.’

He will remain in jail until he ‘sobers up’ an LAPD official said.

In the clip an officer can be heard saying: ‘This is not a f**king reality TV show. I know you’re fresh out of rehab, so let’s get your s**t together.’

This recent tirade comes not long after the After Jackass asked for Dr. Phil’s help in a rambling Instagram clip.

Bam explained to the TV doctor how he was going through serious family problems.

In the video he jumped from topic to topic, calling out his mom at one point and also verbally haranguing his wife Nikki, the mother of his only child.

‘Dr. Phil I need your help in a big, big way,’ the MTV alum said in the clip posted to Instagram which looked to have been shot in a hotel room.

Dr. Phil later sat with the star for an emergency therapy session and got him to agree to go to rehab but ultimately it appears that Bam abandoned the plan.

Sources claimed that the three-hour session with the famed talk show host was a, ‘very emotional sit-down,’ with Margera tearing up several times.

The session came to a ‘boiling point,’ however, when the therapist brought in Nikki, who Bam confronted about her ‘extreme stubbornness’ and whom he shares a year and a half old son Phoenix Wolf with.

The report also indicates that Bam’s mother April Margera also took part in the session, who, along with Nikki, asked Phil’s help identifying the substances Margera has been abusing.

Margera was reportedly on his way to rehab – scheduled to span between 60 and 90 days.

At the time he expressed his gratitude to Dr. Phil on Instagram after the session in early August.

Just before his emotional breakdown on social media, Bam was booted from a Southwest flight after he berated airline staff.

Bam was in Atlanta, Georgia, at the time and told staff in a rage that he had had 50 shots of tequila, before calling them ‘idiots’ for believing him.

The star filmed the encounter and posted it for his two million Instagram followers captioning the post: ‘Where can i find the idiots guide of how to not be dumb for this moron!’

‘I had one drink,’ Bam was heard saying from behind the camera.

‘You also have an integrity issue because a minute ago, you said you had 50,’ responded the officer.

The stuntman replied: ‘Cause I’m f**kin’ with, you you idiot. What are you, a f**kin’ moron?’

He continued: ‘Do you think anybody could do 50 shots of tequila? You are out of your God damn mind.’

Bam continued to call the worker an ‘idiot’ and saying he should be fired for believing he had done 50 shots of tequila.

The Jackass star shared another video minutes later of himself being escorted by airport police.
