Big Brother’s Lisa Clark blasts The Bachelor for ‘mean girl’ culture

‘I’m appalled!’ Big Brother star BLASTS The Bachelor’s ‘mean girl’ culture branding the cast as ‘the worst representation of Australian women’

Former Big Brother star Lisa Clark has publicly blasted The Bachelor for selecting too many ‘mean girls’ this season.

Lisa, who appeared on Big Brother in 2014, penned a scathing essay to Instagram on Friday, explaining why she’s had to ‘switch off’ from The Bachelor for the first time ever this year.

‘Last night I had to turn the bachelor off, they’ve literally picked the worst cross section of women this year to be representing the Australian female demographic,’ the blonde declared.

‘If we continue to call each other sl*ts, trash, ho*s, then we are giving men, work colleagues, and other girls the green light to do the same,’ she warned.

Lisa questioned why many women react to women that threaten them with nastiness.

‘I can’t support a show that does this for ‘entertainment’, because I’m not entertained – I’m appalled,’ she insisted.

The Sydney socialite explained that when she starred on Big Brother, the female contestants all supported each other.

‘If the dresses the producers gave us for our Friday night dinners were too tight or revealing we would share our clothes and style each other until we were all happy to walk out together,’ she said.

Lisa said that the women in the Big Brother would try and lift each other up in times of distress, ensuring they all got through it together.

‘Was every female in the house my kinda girl? No. We were in a competition. Yes. But we respected and looked out for each other because ‘reality’ TV isn’t reality,’ she insisted.

Lisa’s comments came after Thursday night’s dramatic episode of The Bachelor, which saw a wild argument between Roxi Kenny and Kaitlyn Hoppe.

A jealous Roxi, 29, became furious after learning that Kaitlyn, 26, had kissed Locky earlier in the evening.

At one stage, she said within earshot of Kaitlyn: ‘I’m sorry but I think that’s really rude to everyone else. You kissed someone at a cocktail party.’

‘That’s classless. She’s Gold Coast trash,’ she added. ‘This little silly b***h over here is saying she pecked on with someone. It’s disgusting. The b***h is a sl*t.’
