Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend sues Louisville PD saying he’s the victim of police misconduct as he seeks to avoid prosecution for firing a shot that wounded a cop the night the EMT was killed
Breonna Taylor‘s boyfriend is suing the city of Louisville and its police department saying he is the victim of misconduct as he seeks to avoid prosecution for firing a single shot that wounded an officer the night his EMT girlfriend was killed.
Lawyers for Kenneth Walker filed the civil lawsuit in Jefferson County District Court in Kentucky on Tuesday.
He is seeking an unspecified amount in damages for assault, battery, false arrest and imprisonment, malicious prosecution, abuse of process and negligence the night of the raid at Taylor’s apartment that ended with her being shot dead by police.
‘Kenny continues to reel from the death of the love of his life, but he is also the victim and survivor of police misconduct – misconduct that threatens his freedom to this day,’ the complaint says.
