A motorist who had just refuelled their car has had a lucky escape after a milk tanker lost control and crashed into a petrol station.
The truck was travelling through Traralgon in Victoria’s Gippsland region early Friday morning when the driver lost control on a bend.
The truck veered over a centre median strip, cleaned up a set of traffic lights and careered into a petrol station.
The vehicle then struck a car parked at the petrol bowser before coming to a stop metres away from the shopfront.

Photos of the crash aftermath show extensive damage to the smashed up milk truck and how narrowly close it came to smashing into the shopfront.
The petrol bowser was also extensively damaged.
No one was seriously injured in the crash.
A motorist who was filling up their car at the boswer moments earlier inside the shop paying at the time.
The truck driver aged in his 40s was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The main road through Traralgon was closed for the rest of the night with westbound traffic on Princess Street completely blocked.
East bound traffic on Princes Street was down to one lane as heavy haulage operators spent the night clearing the scene.
Police believe the truck was travelling from the nearby town of Churchill.
