‘Wow, you are ripped! Hey, he’s not supposed to be that fit. Why do I look so bad? Fix this up. This is appalling!’ a jealous Karl snapped.
Karl was spray tanned by his co-presenter, Allison Langdon, who seemed to have no idea how to apply the fake tan.
Meanwhile, Alex looked shocked as his muscles became visibly more defined before his very eyes as a professional spray tan artist got to work.

While Alex was pleased with the results, Karl said his spray tan was ‘terrible’, adding: ‘That’s a little bit dark. I’ve got to go out tonight.’
The spray tan segment occurred at the end of the show, right as Today segued into morning program Today Extra.
Today Extra host Richard Wilkins looked very surprised as he watched footage of Alex and Karl getting sprayed on live TV.
