Big Brother All-Stars: Kevin Campbell, David Alexander and Daniele Donato depart in triple eviction
It was a bloodbath on Thursday’s episode of Big Brother: All-Stars, as three contestants were evicted for the first time in the show’s 20-year history.
Over the course of the two-hour program, Kevin Campbell, 40, David Alexander, 30, and Daniele Donato, 33, were all evicted from the Big Brother house, ending their runs on season 22.
In revolving Head of Household competitions, Memphis Garrett, 37, and Tyler Crispen, 23, were also named HoH, and two subsequent veto contests threw the houseguests into a frenzy.
Triple eviction: Kevin Campbell was the first of three houseguests to be evicted on Thursday’s episode of Big Brother: All-Stars on CBS
The episode shook things up so much, its announcer called it ‘two weeks of game play in two hours,’ and everyone seemed unnerved by it.
‘All hell is about to break loose!’ Tyler predicted. ‘Buckle up!’
With less than a month to go before the show’s winner was crowned, players began the episode on tenterhooks, wondering what would happen and whether some big guns would fall.
The Committee, BB22’s main alliance, started the episode intact, with all six of its members: Dani, Memphis, Tyler, Cody Calafiore, 29, Christmas Abbott, 35, and Nicole Franzel, 28.
Second eviction: David Alexander was the second to be evicted and left with a $10,000 prize
Third out: Daniel Donato was the third houseguest to be evicted during the two-hour show
During the week, Head of Household Cody had put Kevin and David up on the block, and everyone seemed calm, if not a little bored, with their status.
‘Two days in a row with nothing going on inside is the greatest,’ Cody affirmed.
But he didn’t have to wait long for things to get stirred up, with the house’s neighbor Dr. Will Kirby, 47, from BB2, cautioning everyone to think ‘three moves ahead.’
Nine left: The show opened with the nine remaining houseguests on the show
‘I love Dr. Will normally, but I have no idea what he wants,’ Dani admitted. ‘I’m pretty sure we’re going to start speeding things up pretty soon, so I’m very, very nervous.’
She showed her pal Nicole where all her things were in her room, ‘so in case I get evicted, you can pack it for me.’
Memphis knew what was up, telling Dani, ‘Three steps ahead. Triple eviction? That’s the only thing that would make sense.’

Cody and Enzo Palumbo, 42, grappled with which of their friends to target to save themselves, as they knew things were about to get crazy in the house.
‘It’s coming to a point where we have to [do something] or they will,’ Cody sighed, thinking he might have to get rid of either Christmas or Tyler.
Tyler and David spoke and decided that they would go after Nicole or Dani, if needed—something Tyler failed to tell Dani in their chat.
At the episode’s first eviction ceremony, Kevin indicted the ‘illegal and deadly policing of the African-American community,’ and insisted he could help his fellow houseguests’ game.

David said that he’d already made history by being the second African-American male to make the BB jury, and offered that he wanted to see out the competition.
Kevin was then unanimously eliminated by the houseguests, and left without hugging anyone.
He told show host Julie Chen-Moonves, 50, that he’d been ‘on the struggle bus’ for the whole season and knew it was his time to go, but he wept at his castmates’ goodbye messages.

With Kevin gone, it was time for the next Head of Household competition, in which the houseguests had to answer true/false questions about Will.
Memphis won HoH, and after a rapid strategy session, named David and Nicole to the block.
Moments later, six people competed for the golden power of the veto, playing ‘Ice in Your Veins,’ a game that saw them walking back-and-forth on balance beams to complete a puzzle.

Christmas won and quickly decided it wasn’t ‘necessary’ to change Memphis’ nominations.
When Julie appeared onscreen to announce the second eviction ceremony, the houseguests saw the words ‘Triple Eviction’ scrolling out behind her.
Shocked, they scrambled to figure out their next moves as Nicole and David begged to stay.

In the episode’s second eviction ceremony, David was ousted by a vote of 3 to 2, with Tyler and Christmas trying to keep him in the house.
‘I’ll see you guys finale night,’ David said, fleeing the house without hugging anyone.
He told Julie that he was ‘proud’ of how he’d played the ‘fun’ game, since he’d gotten much farther than had in his BB21 appearance and even won $10,000.

The houseguests were flabbergasted when Julie then confirmed that there would be a triple elimination that week, and told them to prepare for another HoH competition.
In the game ‘It’s All About You,’ she asked them questions about the early days of season 22, and Tyler was the only one to get every one correct.
As new HoH, he nominated Dani and Nicole to the block without explaining why.

‘I feel like I’m in a nightmare,’ Nicole said.
By random draw, everyone except Memphis competed in the second veto contest, called ‘Feet To The Fire,’ which saw them racing back-and-forth across a balance beam to build a fire puzzle.
Tyler won the golden power of veto and opted not to take either of his nominees off the block.

He finally explained that he had chosen them for eviction because Dani was ‘planting lots of seeds around the house about me, and Nicole, you weren’t relaying those messages to me.’
In a short, emotional discussion afterward, the women hugged and Dani resolved that whoever stayed had to get Christmas out of the house.
‘Houseguests,’ Julie called, pulling them back to the game. ‘I need everyone to gather in the living room. It is Groundhog Day here.’
Planting seeds; Dani and Tyler saw their pact fall apart as he believed that she was planting seeds against him
For the third eviction ceremony, Nicole begged once again to stay, crying as she added, ‘I don’t know what else to say.’
‘Nicole doesn’t know what to say,’ Dani offered. ‘Guess what, I do.’
She announced that if she stayed, she’d be going after Tyler and Christmas, whom she said had made a ride-or-die pact to the finale, also revealing that Christmas had won a secret power.

By a unanimous vote of 4-0, Dani was evicted from the house.
She left without hugging Tyler or Christmas, who griped, ‘I guess it’s gonna be personal.’
‘Guess it is!’ Dani told her, slipping out the door.
With Julie, she became more emotional, revealing that she was ‘flabbergasted’ and hurt that Cody voted to evict her, calling him her ‘BB BFF’ with whom she stayed up plotting every night.
Unanimous vote: By a unanimous vote of 4-0, Dani was evicted from the house
‘I thought my social game was good enough to keep me here today, and clearly it wasn’t,’ Dani cried, admitting her real loyalty lay with the Core Four, which included Enzo, Cody, and Nicole.
She’d wanted Christmas and Tyler out for some time, she confirmed, noting that Tyler’s early desire to ‘go home to his girlfriend’ had thrown her for a loop and ruined their relationship.
‘It’s All-Stars, it’s your first season,’ Dani emphasized. ‘If you wanna come, play. If you don’t wanna come, go home.’
The show ended with a shot of the exhausted final six: Enzo, Cody, Christmas, Tyler, Nicole and Memphis, one of whom will soon win the show’s $500,000 prize.
Big Brother: All-Stars will return Monday on CBS.
