The Block’s Harry suggests playing ‘some nice Greek music’ in his home’s real estate video

The Block’s Harry suggests playing ‘some nice Greek music’ in his home’s real estate video leaving his daughter Tash unimpressed by the suggestion

With The Block nearing the pointy end of the competition, the show’s contestants had to put together real estate videos for their homes during Monday’s episode.

‘Basically, we had to create a standout listing of our property for Domain. So that includes a video, photography and listing for the property as well,’ explained Tash.

The 32-year-old then got to work with her dad, Harry, brainstorming ideas that could make their real estate video stand out from the others.

The hard sell: With The Block nearing the pointy end of the competition, the show’s contestants had to put together real estate videos for their homes during Monday’s episode. Pictured, contestant Tash

But one of Harry’s ideas failed to impress his daughter, who claimed it lacked the elegance they were hoping to convey.

‘Maybe have some Greek music in the background. Some nice Greek music,’ suggested Harry, 57, a proud Greek Cypriot.

‘Have you seen their videos? We’re in a high-end suburb! We want it to look nice!’ screamed Tash, immediately shutting down Harry’s idea.

But Harry seemed to take offence to his daughter’s blatant opposition to injecting some Greek music into their real estate video.

‘Are you saying Greek music isn’t high-end?’ he asked sincerely, leaving a speechless Tash staring blankly at him.

Tash said she was determined to create a ‘serious listing’, electing to ignore Harry’s idea for a Greek soundtrack.

But Harry did manage to make a cameo in the video, handing Tash a staged cup of coffee as she presented the home to prospective buyers.

Apparently at a loss of what to do, Harry then proceeded to stand in the shot, staring silently at the camera with a goofy smile on his face.

‘Dad and his bloody scarf! This is just the funniest thing ever,’ Tash laughed after the director of the video called ‘cut’.
