    Wales have gone four points clear at the top of their Nations League group following a goalless draw with the Republic of Ireland.

    The hosts had bad news before the start of the game with five players withdrawn from the squad after an unnamed player tested positive for Covid-19.

    James McClean was sent off late in the second-half for the hosts after receiving two yellow cards, but held on to take a point after a game with few clear-cut opportunities.
