Seeing double! The Bachelorette US is caught COPYING the Australian version of the series
The US version of The Bachelorette is currently underway.
And although the season has been billed as the most dramatic season in Bachelor history, it’s certainly not the most original.
This week, fans of the franchise noticed that one of the men’s entrances on Clare Crawley’s premiere was identical to Todd King’s entrance on Ali Oetjen’s season.
Uh oh! The American version of The Bachelorette has been busted copying one of the entrances from the Australian version of the series
On Ali’s season, which aired in 2018, Todd arrived dressed as a medieval knight.
The same entrance was then recycled by one of the suitor’s during Clare’s episode this week.
The moment was spotted by the Instagram account Bachie Gossip, who shared a side-by-side of the scenes on Wednesday.

The Bachelorette Australia kicked off its sixth season last Wednesday with sisters Elly and Becky Miles sharing the lead.
And while having siblings front the season is a first for the franchise, the show is at risk of being outdone by the American version.
The sixteenth season of The Bachelorette US premiered in America on October 13, and will feature a shocking twist that’s never been seen before.
No competition! Elly and Becky Miles’ season of The Bachelorette is in danger of being overshadowed by the far more dramatic American version of the show
Not only will the season feature its oldest Bachelorette ever, 39-year-old Clare Crawley, viewers will also witness the hairstylist dramatically exit the show just weeks into filming.
According to various reports, Clare fell in love with contestant Dale Moss early on in the season and the couple mutually decided to walk away from the show together.
Producers were then forced to replace the blonde beauty, bringing in former Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise star Tayshia Adams, 30, to film the rest of the season with Clare’s leftover guys.

Not only is Tayshia a fan favourite with viewers, she’s also been praised for bringing some much needed diversity to the franchise as the second-ever black Bachelorette.
A dramatic trailer for the new season also hints that up to fifteen of the suitors will threaten to quit the show after Clare finds love with Dale.
By comparison, trailers for the Australian Bachelorette have been noticeably light on drama.

Outside of a few previews of Becky becoming frustrated with one of the men, the rest of the promos have focused on Elly and Becky’s wholesome country girl personas and earnest quest for love.
The tone certainly seems different to last year’s season with Angie Kent, which featured plenty of drama, comedy, and larger than life characters.
Australian viewers will be able to watch Clare’s journey for love on 9Now, although it’s unclear when exactly the episodes will be released on the streaming service.
