Snowpiercer’s Rowan Blanchard celebrates her 19th birthday in New York City with a girlfriend

Snowpiercer star Rowan Blanchard celebrates her 19th birthday in New York City with a girlfriend

Rowan Blanchard was ready to celebrate her 19th birthday on Wednesday as she stepped out in New York City.

The former Disney star was spotted hanging out with one of her girlfriends in the afternoon while getting a caffeine pick-me-up with coffees.

The activist and actress tried to stay warm on the cool day with a thick brown hooded jacket, but she rocked a playful white crop top underneath.

Birthday girl: Rowan Blanchard celebrated her 19th birthday on Wednesday in New York City with one of her female friends

Rowan’s button-up top was tied off at the bottom to reveal a hint of her taut midriff, and her sheer ribbed bra was also partly exposed.

She added a splash of color to her look with flared pants with kaleidoscopic blue and pink designs and risqué spiderwebbing cutouts above her thighs.

The 5ft5in Wrinkle In Time actress also wore casual black boots and styled her raven tresses in a messy bob.

Risky business: Rowan didn't wear a mask while out, despite the ongoing pandemic and NYC's rising COVID-19 cases

Risky business: Rowan didn’t wear a mask while out, despite the ongoing pandemic and NYC’s rising COVID-19 cases

Rowan spent the day with one of her female friends, who was dressed more casually in a gray sweatshirt with black pants and red and white Nikes.

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and recent spikes of COVID-19 cases in New York City, Rowan didn’t bother to wear a mask while outdoors, though her friend did.

The actress’ first big roles came in 2010 when she starred in the Disney Channel series Dance-a-Lot Robot, and she followed it with her lead role in Spy Kids: All The Time In The World, the fourth and final entry in the series.

In 2014, she played the lead role in the Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World series, which was a continuation of the ABC show Boy Meets World.

The series ended after three seasons, reportedly because Rowan and her costars were beginning to age out of the Disney Channel’s target demographic.

The actress seems to have teed up her next big role, as she’ll be a series regular on the second season of TNT’s Snowpiercer series when it returns in late January of 2021.

The series is a reboot of the critically acclaimed 2013 dystopian film of the same name starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton and directed by future Oscar winner Bong Joon-ho.

Rowan was introduced in the season one finale as Alexandra Cavill, the long-lost daughter of Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly).

Her character was originally believed to have died in a global disaster seven years earlier that turned the Earth into a frozen wasteland, though she’ll now be a main cast member in season two.

Next big role: She appeared in the season one finale of TNT's Snowpiercer, and she's been bumped up to the main cast for season two; still from Snowpiercer with (L-R) Jennifer Connelly, Mike O'Malley and Daveed Diggs
