Pascal Wallace was brutally kicked off Thursday night’s episode of The Bachelorette, after sisters Elly and Becky Miles discovered he had been bad-mouthing them.
And while it may seem his remarks led to his shock exit, an insider has revealed what actually happened behind the scenes.
Pascal manages six sports and disability physio clinics across Sydney and was struggling to keep on top of his work.
Drama: While it may seem Pascal Wallace’s remarks about Bachelorette’s Elly and Becky Miles led to his shock exit, an insider has revealed it was all set up by producers
‘Pascal couldn’t run his business. He spoke to producers and asked them how they wanted to play it out,’ a well-placed source told Daily Mail Australia.
‘His contract at WB didn’t give him enough time to run his business inside the house. He could barely even pay his employees,’ they added.
According to the source, Pascal told producers he ‘was missing his work and didn’t feel a connection’ to either Elly or Becky and felt it was best to leave.
Producers were reportedly so unhappy with his decision – after James ‘Harry’ Harris’ also quit the show to be with his children – he was then played out to be a villain.

‘It was all set up by producers, they asked him to dob all the people who had been secretly smoking around the mansion as a way of causing drama,’ the source added.
‘It was boring in the house and they needed drama and something exciting to happen so the larrikin Pascal became the easy scapegoat, especially after agreeing to dob in the smokers on his exit.’
Following the episode, Pascal posted a series of videos to his Instagram account revealing his version of events.
Pascal explained how his portrayal on the show was not ‘who he is as a person’.
‘I feel like I need to defend my position, it’s not how I feel about the girls and the way I am going to be portrayed on national television is not who I am as a person,’ he began.
During the episode, the sisters confronted Pascal at the cocktail party after another contestant, revealed he had been speaking badly of them.

But Pascal denied their concerns, telling them: ‘I have said none of these comments. You are basing this on hearsay.’
Unfortunately for Pascal, neither Becky or Elly, 25, believed him, and thought the CEO was ‘lying through his teeth’.
‘I had chatted to the producers about wanting to leave and get back to my business,’ he said. ‘And, I wasn’t really feeling it with Elly.’
Behind -the-scenes: The physiotherapist went on to reveal in the clip that he had already spoken to producers about an exit strategy prior to being booted from the show
