‘You can really make it with whatever you have in your fridge – freezer, or pantry – you just need a couple of staple ingredients.’
Kayla said that as long as you have pasta, some form of protein (chicken, tuna, chickpeas or tofu are all good ideas) and some vegetables, then you’re ‘good to go’.
She likes to include as many herbs as possible, including oregano and basil.

Your choice of pasta
1. Boil your choice of pasta in salted water and drain once cooked.
2. In a pan, heat some olive oil, then add your choice of protein and veggies and cook through.
3. Then, add whatever vegetables you have in your fridge to the mix.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with some pasta water and season with herbs and spices. Kayla loves adding olive oil, chilli, and herbs like oregano or basil.

Those who saw the simple recipe online were hugely impressed.
‘This looks delicious!’ one commenter posted.
‘I need to try this,’ another added.
This isn’t the first simple recipe Kayla has shared online, with the fitness queen previously sharing the tuna salad she eats when she’s training clients.
‘I usually have all of the ingredients in my fridge already so it’s really quick to put together,’ Kayla – whose empire is worth $696 million – posted previously.
When it comes to the rest of her day on a plate, Kayla’s (pictured) diet is similarly health-focused, but also delicious and she normally has two breakfasts
Kayla explained that she likes the simple dish, because it’s ‘full of fresh vegetables’ but also has some rice and tuna in it, which fills her up and gives her lasting energy throughout the day.
‘I don’t really measure anything, but if you want to make it you’ll need a handful of cherry tomatoes, half an avocado, around a quarter of a cucumber, red onion, a can of tuna and half a cup of rice,’ Kayla said.
‘I add a drizzle of balsamic glaze, a drizzle of oil and some salt and cracked pepper and throw everything into a bowl and it’s ready to eat.
‘It literally takes five minutes to make!’ she added.
Kayla typically uses brown rice as it has more complex carbohydrates than white rice and so it will keep you fuller for longer.
She also said that vegetarians and vegans could substitute the tuna out for chickpeas, tofu or eggs if they eat them instead.

‘If I’m craving sugar, I’ll have a cup of tea or something like that. I think a lot of people confuse hunger with boredom,’ she said previously.
