Khloe Kardashian calls isolating from her child ‘heart-wrenching’ as she details her COVID-19 battle

Khloe Kardashian describes isolating from her two-year-old True for 16 days ‘heart-wrenching’ as she details her COVID-19 battle

Khloe Kardashian detailed her COVID-19 battle in her first sit-down interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, since she tested positive for the novel illness months ago.

While the 36-year-old reality star suffered from a number of coronavirus symptoms, from headaches to vomiting, she said nothing compared to having to isolate from her two-year-old daughter, True.

‘At the very beginning, I tested positive and it was so incredibly scary,’ she explained. ‘I mean, it’s still scary, but especially then, when the whole world was shutting down, and we didn’t have really any information, or the information we had just changed every single day.’

Tough time: Khloe Kardashian detailed her COVID-19 battle in her first sit-down interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show , since she tested positive for the novel illness months ago

When asked by the host, 62, if felt she ‘really sick’ or was asymptomatic, the Good American founder said she ‘felt really quickly on’ that she ‘was getting sick with something.’

‘I remember I just wore a mask, I remember I wore gloves, just because speculation all about COVID, but nobody really knew, and we were all like, ‘There’s no way I could have COVID,’ she recalled.

Ultimately, after her whole family underwent coronavirus testing in March, she learned she had contracted the virus, which ‘really alarmed’ her loved ones.

While ‘everyone else tested negative,’ she was forced to quarantine in her room for about 16 days, while contagious and recovering.

‘We had to wait until I had negative test results to leave,’ she noted, before calling isolation the ‘hardest part.’

She continued: ‘I don’t care about how beautiful of a place you have, being taken away from your child – because I couldn’t be around my daughter – was the most heart-wrenching thing.’

During the chat, Kardashian looked fully recuperated, while donning a chic all-black ensemble and a pair of Valentino heels.

It was initially revealed she had the coronavirus earlier this week, in a new teaser for the next episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The clip showed her appearing to have fallen ill not long after attending her best friend Malika Haqq’s babymoon at a casino near Palm Springs, California.

She had it: Khloe Kardashian tested positive for COVID-19 several months ago, it was revealed on Wednesday. In a new teaser for the next episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the 36-year-old Good American designer was told she is sick with the coronavirus

‘I just found out that I do have corona, I have been in my room … it was really bad for a couple of days, vomiting and shaking and hot and cold,’ the mother-of-one said in a clip, from bed, as she wore black pajamas and shows off long red nails.

She continued: ‘I suffer from migraines but this was the craziest headache, I wouldn’t say it was a migraine.’

Additionally, Kardashian spoke of feeling like her ‘chest would burn’ when she coughed and having a hoarse voice.

More details: 'The coughing - my chest would burn when I coughed. My throat is still not fully recovered clearly, let me tell you that sh** is real but we are all going to get through this'
