Good Morning Britain suffers hilarious gaffe as London reporter Sangeeta Kandola is stuck on mute before the weather forecast is CUT OFF

Good Morning Britain was the victim of another hilarious gaffe on Friday as London news reporter Sangeeta Kandolo got stuck on mute.

As the breakfast show cut to its usual round-up of the local news, the presenter could be seen pointing around the screen and saying she couldn’t hear anything before abruptly beginning her report.

Things went from bad to worse as ITV then cut to the local report, which led to the presenter being cut-off mid-sentence so they could return to the GMB studio.

Oops! Good Morning Britain was the victim of another hilarious gaffe on Friday as London news reporter Sangeeta Kandolo got stuck on mute

As Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway cut to the local news, London viewers saw Sangeeta staring at the camera unsure of when to begin her report.

After several seconds of waiting she began pointing around her, hinting she was aware no one could hear her.

Despite this she began her report before the sound abruptly returned mid-flow.

But this wasn’t the end of the gaffe-filled segment as once the show cut to the weather, reporter James Wright was brutally cut off mid-sentence to return to the usual show.

As expected Ben and Kate were unawares of the blunders that came before and continued with the show as normal.

It comes after GMB’s weather presenter Laura Tobin burst into fits of giggles during a segment earlier this month.

Laura was presenting a weather report but struggled to make her way through it after laughing at a joke made off air during an ad break.

She did her best to make it to the end of the weather update but was teased by co-stars Ben and Susanna Reid.

Laura managed to explain in between her giggles that someone off camera had told a funny joke during the break.

Trying to regain control, Laura admitted to viewers:‘I’m so sorry. This is so unprofessional. I’m sorry.’

Susanna could be heard chuckling in the background, and after the weather segment, she said: ‘Don’t worry, Laura. No one noticed’ before Ben joked: ‘We’ll get to the bottom of this.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
