Two workers at Tiger King zoo ‘shot dead two trespassers’, Jeff Lowe claims

Two workers at the Tiger King zoo ‘shot dead two trespassers before burning and burying their bodies on the land’ former owner Jeff Lowe claims

    • The alleged crime was not reported and a lawyer for Joe Exotic has said the claims are part of ‘another example of his efforts to smear Joe’s good name’
    • But Lowe has said a number of different people have told him the story
    • He now believes the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park to be haunted
    • It is not known when the alleged crime took place; no suspects have been named
    • In August it was revealed the zoo would be closed permanently to the public
    • Tiger King, which became a huge hit on Netflix at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in March, tells of Exotic and his private zoo in Oklahoma

Two trespassers at the Tiger King zoo were allegedly shot dead by workers who then burned and buried their bodies, according to one time owner Jeff Lowe.

The alleged crime was not reported and a lawyer for Joe Exotic, who sold the land to Lowe, has said the claims are part of ‘another example of his efforts to smear Joe’s good name’.

But Lowe has said a number of different people have told him the story and he now believes the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma to be haunted, The Sun reports.

He told Travel Channel show Ghost Adventures ‘six different people… came to us with the same story’ that two workers were taking drugs and drinking beers when they spotted the trespassers.

Lowe added:  ‘One of those two always carried (guns) and he shot at them, killed one on the fence, the second was winged and landed on the ground.

‘They went over to finish off the person on the ground and the initial shooter got violently ill, he couldn’t look at the person and finish the job. The person, who he was with, finished the job.

‘They got five gallons of gasoline and burned the bodies.’

It is not known if the alleged crime really took place – and no suspects or victims have been identified.

There is no suggestion Joe Exotic knew about the alleged crime.

His spokesman said: ‘Jeff is a story teller. This is is just one of the many laughable rumors that were always circulating around the zoo…None of these stories are true.’

Lowe says the zoo is also haunted after Joe’s husband Travis Moldonado fatally shot himself in the head on site.

In August it was revealed the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma would be closed permanently to the public. Exotic is serving 22 years in prison

He added: ‘I don’t know how Joe kept his mind straight by living here and having all stuff going on.’

In August it was revealed the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma would be closed permanently to the public.

Exotic is serving 22 years at Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas after being convicted in a murder-for-hire plot against his nemesis Carole Baskin.

But the former big cat breeder – who insists he’s innocent of his crimes – says he’s going through hell in prison and is being targeted by prison staff in a campaign of abuse.

Exotic – real name Joe Maldonado-Passage – lays out the alleged abuse in handwritten letters, complaint forms and emails obtained by DailyMailTV and believes one guard in particular has it in for him.

Lowe, who also starred in the series, took over the park from Joe Exotic.

The closure of Greater Wynnewood comes just over two months after a federal judge ordered the zoo be handed over to Baskin as part of a ruling in a $1 million trademark dispute.

Tiger King, which became a huge hit on Netflix at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in March, tells of Exotic, a flamboyant polygamist owner of a private zoo in Oklahoma and his rivalry with self-proclaimed animal activist Baskin.

While Exotic continues to protest his innocence, during the Netflix documentary series, the 57-year-old was heard making repeated threats to kill Baskin during his daily web broadcast, in which he coined the phrase ‘That b**** Carole Baskin.’

Exotic also made a number of accusations that Baskin killed her ex-husband, Don Lewis, who vanished without a trace in August 1997. Exotic claimed that Baskin had murdered Lewis and fed him to her tigers – an accusation she denies.
