‘Miss them so much!’ David Warner can’t wait to return home from the 2020 Indian Premier League and be reunited with his family – after wife Candice was kidnapped and bound on a brutal episode of SAS Australia

He’s been away from his family on tour in the 2020 Indian Premier League.

And on Tuesday, David Warner’s focus was away from the field as he shared his excitement over returning home from India to see his family.

David, 34, shared a series of pictures of wife, Candice, 35, and two of his three daughters – Ivy Mae, six, and Indi Rae, four – to Instagram.

He captioned the set of photographs: ‘It’s incredible how much time flies!!’ Not long now till I get to see my gorgeous family. Miss them so much.’

In the post, the former Ironwoman hugs their two daughters, who were also photographed together on a beach.

‘We miss you too darling. 16 days hopefully and counting,’ Candice, who also shares 16-month-old Isla Rose with David, replied to his post.

David has been away from his family since the Indian Premier League started on September 19. It will run until November 10.

His heart-warming post comes after Candice was kidnapped and bound while appearing on SAS Australia – one of the nation’s most gruelling TV shows.

During Tuesday’s episode of the military-style series, she was awoken with the other recruits by the sound of gunshots, and they were put through a dramatic emergency evacuation exercise.

After frantically dressing and leaving their base camp, Candice lagged behind the rest of the group, who were already nearing the evacuation site.

It proved to be a costly mistake for her as she was captured and bound by the show’s DS, who were posing as the enemy.

‘I’m not as strong or as fast as I used to be. But mentally I’m stronger, because of things that you achieved in your life and you’ve overcome,’ she acknowledged.

As the other recruits all descended upon their evacuation point, they performed a head count and quickly realised she was missing from the group.
