Erin Holland reveals how ‘difficult’ it’s been during pandemic and having to reschedule her wedding

EXCLUSIVE: Erin Holland reveals how ‘difficult’ it’s been during the coronavirus pandemic and having to reschedule her wedding to cricketer Ben Cutting TWICE

Erin Holland has reflected on how tough the past year has been thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 31-year-old model and presenter spoke to Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday and revealed that she’s even had to reschedule her wedding to cricketer Ben Cutting, 33, twice.

Erin, who splits her time between Queensland and NSW, said that it’s been a ‘difficult’ year, due to lockdown and border restrictions.

EXCLUSIVE: Speaking to Daily Mail Australia this week, Erin Holland revealed how ‘difficult’ it’s been during the coronavirus pandemic and having to reschedule her wedding to cricketer Ben Cutting TWICE

‘It’s been really difficult. I had that period where we were all in lockdown and it kind of felt that we were in it together and I was with Ben and I came back from working overseas,’ Erin began.

‘That time together was lovely, we never ever spent more than a couple of weeks in a row together. Rescheduling the wedding twice now has not been fun.’

‘It’s been quite a stress and the longer it goes on, the harder it is to get your head around,’ she said.

Erin and Ben were set to tie the knot earlier this year, but are now waiting to see what date is best for 2021.

Erin said it’s hard to reschedule due to Ben’s cricketing commitments.

‘I know in the scheme of things, it’s not the most important thing, but for something like that, you have your heart set on it. And for us, our schedules change so quickly, we don’t know if Ben will even be available for certain dates,’ she said.

‘So it’s getting my head around that and how life has changed in the past six to 12 months. And my aunt passed away as well and I can’t get to the state for the funeral,’ Erin said.

‘This year has made a transient life and living across two states more difficult.’

Erin, who recently bought a unit in Sydney with Ben, added: ‘I just miss my family and I’m hoping the borders open soon so I can go and see everyone.’

In September, Erin recently even completed 14 days of mandatory hotel quarantine in Brisbane after flying in from Sydney.

She joked at the time that she had ‘lost the plot’ on day three.

Erin has just been named the host of Tia Maria’s new podcast series, One of a Kind

The brunette beauty has enjoyed learning some new skills as a host and is thrilled to be an interviewer for a change, rather than the talent.

‘For me, transitioning from being the talent who gets asked the questions to actually being the interviewer has been a big change,’ Erin added.

‘And learning how to say enough in less words is something I’ve learned.’

One of a Kind is available to be streamed on Apple and Spotify.
