Michelle said foremost that loving and embracing her family is the most important thing to her as she enters her 50s.

‘Most importantly is your family… And knowing what’s real and what’s important. Your friends, hold them close,’ the celebrity trainer said.

She also added: ‘And then, you know, the other stuff, don’t sweat it. Let stuff go. Drop baggage if you need to, especially if it’s holding you back. Look for the fun.’

Michelle also said that it was important to be authentic and real, and ‘walk your talk’, adding: ‘If you are going to say it, be it. Don’t just post about it on Insta Stories.’

Michelle and Steve met while filming The Biggest Loser in 2007, at a time when they were both in relationships with other people.

They began dating in 2015, after splitting from their respective partners, and welcomed son Axel in December that year.

‘It’s been a challenging year for me there’s no question about that and I’m so grateful for the people around me, my close friends and my close family,’ she told Morning Show hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies in May.

The single-mother continued: ‘If you want to talk about real worth, then you look around at the people that are there for you during the good, the bad, the ugly.’

She said that it is very easy to get ‘caught up in’ the ‘curve balls’ that life can throw, and that ‘all the answers and everything that you need is inside of you, and that’s what I’ve been remembering.’
