Lilly Becker cuts a casual figure as she goes grocery shopping after her estranged husband Boris ‘hands back keys’ to £9m luxury villa amid his bankruptcy proceedings

Her estranged husband Boris Becker has reportedly ‘handed back the keys’ to a £9million luxury villa and estate in Majorca as part of his bankruptcy proceedings.

And Lilly Becker cut a casual figure as she stepped out to go grocery shopping in London on Wednesday.

The model, 44, donned a navy knee-length coat on her outing which she wore over a baby blue shirt.

Lilly also sported a pair of dark skinny jeans along with black boots while she added colour to her outfit with an orange jumper.

The Dutch beauty swept some of her brunette tresses into a bun for the day while she also sported a blue face mask.

Completing her look with a brown handbag, Lilly appeared to be solo on her outing.

It comes after it was reported that Boris had ‘handed back the keys’ to a £9million luxury villa and estate in Majorca as part of his bankruptcy proceedings.

British private bank Arbuthnot Latham, accepted ownership of the property as settlement of debts, according to the German-language ‘Mallorca Magazin’.

News of the sale came just days after it was revealed that Becker was selling a £1.8m seven-bedroom house overlooking the Rhine Valley in Germany – with his mother still inside as a lifelong tenant.

Becker, who is dating political risk analyst Lilian Monteiro, went bankrupt in 2017 with debts of £11m, despite earning around £120m in prizes and sponsorship in a career which netted him 49 singles titles, six of them Grand Slams.

According to Majorca Magazin, the British bank are registered in official records as having taken over the property a year ago.

The once-stunning 12-room Majorcan mansion and estate, Son Coll, once valued at around £9m, but now believed to be worth about half that, went on the market last year.

Despite boasting stables, a huge outdoor swimming pool, four guest houses, a helipad and, naturally, a tennis court, which had the Wimbledon net from Becker’s first 1985 finals win, no buyer was found.

In recent years the abandoned property on the holiday island’s western side has endured a chequered history, including being taken over by a band of German squatters in 2018.

Then another group of invaders made a porno film there, featuring German blue movie veteran ‘Dolly Buster’, 51.

According to experts’ estimates, Becker’s ‘finca’ is now worth less than £4.5million, as necessary renovations would cost at least £2.7million.

Becker bought the 2,900 square metre Villa Son Coll in the 1990s. In 2004, the tennis star was fined €214,000 for carrying out illegal work at the villa.

Becker, who is believed to be living in a £5m penthouse flat by the River Thames, is currently facing 28 charges relating to alleged failure to disclose information over his bankruptcy, accusing him of hiding some of the spoils of his playing career to avoid them being sold to settle debts.

The star allegedly hid three properties, £1.2million in cash and 75,000 shares after his bankruptcy, which could land him a seven-year jail sentence for concealment, if found guilty. He denies the claims, and is scheduled to go to trial on September 13 next year.

A spokesperson for Becker was contacted, and Arbuthnot Latham declined to comment.

The former Grand Slam tennis champion, 52, is also embroiled in a legal dispute relating to his current insolvency proceedings.

Mr Becker was declared bankrupt in June 2017 but is accused of not complying with obligations to disclose information, and failing to hand over trophies so they could be sold to settle his debts.

He is standing trial at Southwark Crown Court accused of failing to declare assets and financial transfers, including a payment of €105,497 to his estranged wife Lilly.

Boris denies all 28 charges against him. The tennis ace told Germany’s Bild am Sonntag newspaper that he is ‘still innocent and has the right to be treated as any other citizen would have been’.

‘I believe in the British legal system and its representatives,’ he said. ‘It goes without saying that I will be co-operative and correct on all points’.

Trophies listed on a 28-count indictment include the 1985 Wimbledon men’s singles title which catapulted the then-unknown 17-year-old to sporting stardom.

Also listed are his 1989 silverware from the same tournament and his Australian Open trophies in 1991 and 1996.

Boris pleaded not guilty to all counts when he appeared at Southwark Crown Court in London in October for a 45-minute hearing.

Lilly’s outing comes after she hit out at Boris’ girlfriend Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro after she was seen with her son Amadeus, 10, in Ibiza at the end of July.

Lilian had been seen wrapping her arms around the 52-year-old tennis legend’s son while they waded in the ocean during their holiday.

In a now deleted Instagram post, Lilly implored to Lilian: ‘Let me put it his way so you understand: during the period of #corona! You’re the 2nd girl within 7 months to make breakfast – pizza- pancakes for my son! (sic)

‘No girl – as a mother please respect my son and go take pics with @borisbeckerofficial in your cute bikini and your fabulous body but I beg you step away from my son! (sic)’

Lilly then requested that Lilian ‘take Boris’ hand’ during the trip rather than try and get close with her son.

Referring to her estranged husband, Lilly went on: ‘B won’t tell you! But I will otherwise you won’t get the message! Have a fab holiday – without touching my kid! He’s off limits! Period!!’ (sic)

MailOnline contacted Boris’ representatives at the time for comment.

The former Wimbledon champion split from Lilly in 2018 after a 13-year relationship and nine years of marriage, and it is understood that they are in the ‘final stages’ of divorcing.

In May 2019, the pair reached an agreement after becoming embroiled in a family court dispute over their son Amadeus.
