    They are some of the most stunning properties in Britain that have featured in famous TV series and films over the years.

    And now some of those grand mansions, haunted manors and chapels are hitting the market for eye-watering prices.

    Anyone with a spare £5.95million could add the modernist Surrey mansion that featured in Agatha Christie’s Poirot to their property portfolio.

    Meanwhile one brave home owner could end up living in a haunted Doctor Who mansion that featured in the 2017 episode Knock Knock when Peter Capaldi played the Time Lord.

    And for those fans of reality TV – an eight-bedroom Warwickshire mansion used for The Only Way is Essex filming is now on sale for a cool 2.4million.

    The £5.95million modernist Surrey mansion that featured in Agatha Christie’s Poirot: 

    This six-bedroom round house named St Ann’s Court and located near Chertsey featured in the ITV series Agatha Christie’s Poirot starring David Suchet as the main character.

    The modernist mansion was built in 1936 by the architect Sir Raymond McGrath and has seven bedrooms, a world class music studio on site built for one of the previous owners Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera, and eight acres of pristine land. 

    The eye-catching circular living room has also featured in several adverts including a Nintendo campaign in 2008 that starred Girls Aloud. An M&S commercial with model Alexa Chung was also made there in 2016.

    Most recently, the stunning property was home to Renee Zellwegger during filming for her role in the award-winning Judy Garland biopic.

    Haunted Doctor Who mansion on sale in South Wales  

    Fields Manor featured as a haunted house in the 2017 episode Knock Knock when Peter Capaldi played the Time Lord but has also been used to film several Sherlock episodes.

    The neighbouring property – Fields House – was also the main location in the 2007 fan-favourite episode Blink starring David Tennant and is also on the market for £1.4million.

    Originally it was a dower house for the Scrope family – an old English family of Norman origin – who were lords of the manor.

    The six-bedroom house comes with 2.43 hectares (five acres) of gardens and woodland, and outbuildings including a Cotswold stone coach house. 

    The couch house is now a workshop and a studio. The property also boasts a private chapel.
