Plane crashes on a sports field on Sydney’s northern beaches leaving two men in their 30s with injuries
Two men are lucky to be alive after their light plane crashed onto a soccer field in Sydney’s northern beaches.
The pilot and his passenger were injured after the plane came down at Cromer Park just before 4.30pm on Saturday.
Both men aged in their 30s were injured during the emergency landing.
One man was being treated for spinal injuries as a precaution after reporting lower back pain.
The other suffered a fractured hip as well as neck and back pain, reported Nine News.
A man in his 30s has lower back pain and is being treated for spinal injuries as a precaution.
The second man, also in his 30s, has a fractured hip and neck and back pain.
A New South Wales Ambulance spokesperson said it was possible he had sustained a fractured femur and fractured hip.
