Cara Delevingne reveals she co-owns a SEX TOY brand

‘This means more to me than any job I’ve ever done’: Cara Delevingne reveals she co-owns a SEX TOY brand… following in the racy footsteps of Lily Allen

Cara Delevingne has revealed she is now the co-owner of a sex toy brand.

The supermodel, 28, made the saucy announcement that she has joined forces with high-end sex toy brand Lora Di Carlo in an interview with Cosmopolitan – and declared the venture ‘means more to me than job I’ve ever done.’

The Vogue coverstar said: ‘It’s serious as I’ve ever been. It’s taken quite a long time for me to get into this space. There was a big gap in the market for female-led brands and strong female role models in this kind of place, and I feel like Lora came out of my wildest dreams.

‘This means more to me than any job I’ve ever done. It is integral, something that young girls need, something that young boys need, something that need, because this isn’t just about pleasure and sex toys and sex. This is about health.

The star added that she wanted to ‘help solve problems’ with her sex toy brand and start a dialogue about sexual liberation.

The sex toys – of which Cara said ‘Baci’ was her favourite range in price from $290 (£219) -$140 (£105).

Cara also opened up about those racy pictures of her carrying a sex bench into her home with now ex girlfriend Ashley Benson in May 2019.

She said: ‘It’s not technically a sex bench? It’s also a massage table, you know, there’s a lot of things you can use it for. I’ve gotten massages on it before, it’s alright, it’s good. It’s one of the funniest, funniest photos of all time.’

Earlier this year Lily Allen unveiled her own sex toy, in partnership with the adult toy range Womanizer – becoming their ‘Chief Liberation Officer.’

The songstress, who gave the brand a shout out in her autobiography, My Thoughts Exactly, claiming their sex toys ‘changed my life’, collaborated with the company to come up with her own unique design, retailing at a price of £89.

In a promotional video for the campaign, mother-of-two Lily, 35, says: ‘So, I’ve got a little secret – I masturbate. But why is saying it out loud the so weird?’

In the video, which sees her rolling around on a bed in silk pyjamas before applying lipstick, Lily goes on to champion self-love and empowerment for women’s sexual needs, claiming the toy ‘changed my orgasmic experience all together’.

She says: ‘Loving yourself should be the most normal thing in the world. We all deserve amazing orgasms, right? So let’s be open about it.

Free yourself, feel yourself, love yourself! I masturbate – do you?’

Accompanying the short promo is a more in depth interview with the Trigger Bang chanteuse, in which she says: ‘I talk to my friends about masturbating quite regularly actually.’

Laughing, she adds: ‘My girlfriends more so than my male friends probably to make them feel less uncomfortable!’

Speaking of how she came late to self-pleasure, Lily goes on: ‘I didn’t masturbate at all until my late 20s. I started buying some sex toys at that point in my life and the Womanizer was quite an early introduction to my collection.

‘I found it quite difficult to get myself to a place of pleasure until I found toys. I was on tour in america and away from my partner for a long period of time. I was in New York and I walked past a sex shop and thought “oh I’ll get myself involved in that!”

‘That was my introduction – it was groundbreaking!’

She goes on: ‘Sex toys are still seen as a taboo subject as they are related to masturbation and female pleasure and I think that female pleasure in itself is a taboo subject.

‘The only way to make taboo subjects no longer taboo is to speak about them openly and frequently and without shame or guilt.’

Lily explained that she uses toys with her partner – she is recently married for the second time to actor David Harbour – and added that she likes the toys because they ‘give me an orgasm very quickly’.

She says: ‘It changed my life! Please go and try sex toys, they are great fun!’
