    Zack Snyder’s Justice League trailer offers new footage of Superman’s black suit, Darkseid, Iris West and much more

    HBO Max has released a new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the four-hour extended cut of the 2017 superhero movie.

    Snyder had recently teased that there would be more than two and a half hours worth of new footage that wasn’t included in the two-hour theatrical cut.

    This trailer (via HBO Max YouTube) features more new footage, including a look at Superman’s (Henry Cavill) black suit and Kiersey Clemons’ Iris West, while some of the stars shared new images on their Instagram.

    The trailer, set to Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, opens with a new shot of the villainous Darkseid wreaking havoc on Earth.

    There are also shots of Superman’s death and footage of Darkseid’s parademons buzzing about a demolished Earth.

    There is also a shot of Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) in her civilian/non-Wonder Woman attire, examining some ruins.

    Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) is seen watching footage of Superman dying, while we get glimpses of Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) as well.

    There is a new shot of Superman arriving in his new black suit, while Wonder Woman is seen talking to a young girl.

    The trailer also showcases Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash (Ezra Miller) saving Iris West (Kiersey Clemons) with his Speed Force powers.

    Another new shot shows Aquaman leaving his trident behind in Atlantis, as Mera (Amber Heard) watches him go. 

    There is also a glimpse at the new metallic look for the villainous Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) plus a dramatic shot of Cyborg’s father (Joe Morton) seemingly dying.

    The trailer winds down with a number of action shots of the fight against Steppenwolf, along with a shot of Superman reuniting with his mother and Lois.

    The final line of the trailer also inspired a number of new photos sent out by most of the main cast members, which all have the hashtag #UsUnited.

    Ray Fisher shared a new photo of Cyborg, while sharing a link to a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in his Instagram profile. 

    Ben Affleck shared a new image of Batman fighting parademons in his battle armor, while Jason Momoa also shared the AFSP link, dedicated to Snyder’s daughter Autumn, who committed suicide while Snyder was filming Justice League.
