Matt Bloomfield scored to earn Wycombe a point against Derby and deny Wayne Rooney victory in his first game in sole interim charge of the Rams.
Duane Holmes had given Derby the lead in the 36th minute.
However, they were unable to hold on for victory, although they did bring their winless run to an end.
