The Australian-based GroveX cryptocurrency exchange’s CEO, John Ghemrawi, announced on the X social media platform—formerly known as Twitter until a recent rebranding—that GroveX is now supporting Shibarium, a Layer-2 blockchain solution for the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
In response, a member of the SHIB team expressed gratitude to GroveX for their forward-thinking action. GroveX expands Shibarium compatibility The GroveX exchange has integrated Shibarium into its GroveKeeper wallet, as John Ghemrawi tweeted.

He further stated, “This integration will make #Shibarium one of the leading chains available on our wallet.” The admin of the Telegram channel “Shibarium Tech,” a member of the SHIB team known as Ragnar, quickly replied to that post, expressing the team’s happiness with the integration and thanking GroveX for providing support for Shibarum.
The tweet read, “Let’s continue building together and making Shibarium and Crypto adopted everywhere!!”
Shiba Inu (SHIB), Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), and Doge Killer (LEASH), the so-called Shibarium trinity, were all listed on GroveX by September 11, as previously reported by U.Today. Strangely, Lucie, a member of the SHIB team, recently tweeted to Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, asking that his exchange incorporate Shibarium and reassuring him of the SHIB team’s support for Crypto.com.
SHIB burn rate significantly increases One of the primary SHIB measures, the pace at which these meme currencies are removed from circulation, showed a remarkable increase of 323.82% earlier today, with 68,119,115 SHIB being transferred to “inferno” wallets.
The SHIB army completed over 15 transactions in total, the greatest of which was completed 15 and 17 hours ago and transported 20,421,186 and 11,185,475 SHIB, respectively. An essential element regarding burning Shiba Inu meme money on Shibarium was disclosed earlier this week by the previously mentioned Lucie from the SHIB team.
She clarified that in order to burn genuine SHIB tokens, one must bridge them from Shibarium back to Ethereum since users bridge SHIB tokens from the Ethereum chain to Shibarium, where they are held in a bridge contract and subsequently replaced with minted SHIB. Lucie threatens that if this isn’t done, the genuine SHIB will be trapped in the Shibarium contract while the minted coins are burnt.
