Recent improvements made to Binance’s futures platform, particularly to USD-M perpetual contracts, have been announced. Binance will increase the frequency of funding rate settlements for selected USD-M perpetual contracts starting on October 12, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. (UTC).

These settlements will now take place every four hours as opposed to every eight hours as they did previously. 15 contracts, including the USD-M IMX, LPT, API3, and HIFI perpetual contracts, will be affected by this modification. Additionally, the capped funding rates for a few USD-M permanent contracts will be changed to 3% as of October 9, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. (UTC).

Contracts with a maximum leverage of 25x or less will be affected by this change, and any contracts with a higher maximum leverage will automatically adapt.
