Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ripple Christina Campbell unexpectedly left the bitcoin payments platform to take on a similar position at the online healthcare service Maven Medical Institution.
The CFO of Ripple abruptly leaves the company
As to Campbell’s LinkedIn page, she worked at Ripple for more than two years before her employment ended in October.

Although she left the crypto business without providing a reason, Campbell expressed gratitude for the “memorable” time she had there. After serving as CFO at payments platform PayNearMe for more than four years, Kristina Campbell joined Ripple in April 2021.

Campbell recognised the complexity and strict restrictions of the healthcare business in a post on October 7th on Linkedin, drawing comparisons between it and her familiar fintech sector. Campbell declared:
SHIB (Shiba Inu) Hits Yet Another Significant Milestone
I’m excited to announce that Maven Clinic has invited me to join as CFO. I have personally witnessed during my work how technology can improve people’s lives, and Maven is at the vanguard of healthcare, demonstrating this every day. I want to express my gratitude to everyone at Ripple for making the past several years so amazing.
In the middle of Ripple’s continuing legal dispute with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Campbell makes this declaration. The SEC sued Ripple in December 2020 for the sale of its XRP coin, which is when the conflict started.
After the SEC filed an appeal, a federal court in July declared that XRP was not a security when it was offered to retail investors. The judge’s ruling was affirmed in October. The SEC trial for Ripple is expected to start in April 2024.

After more than two years on the job, Ripple formally announced CFO Kristina’s resignation in a statement. Her leadership during a time of “strong” global momentum, business expansion, and overcoming regulatory obstacles was acknowledged by the firm.
Recognising Kristina’s contributions to the company, Ripple wished her well in her future pursuits.
Although Ripple said goodbye to its CFO, it stressed that it is still in a “strong” financial position and is steadfastly committed to continuing to be successful in important markets throughout the globe.
The release states that Ripple’s dedication to financial stability and its goal of expansion in the quickly changing cryptocurrency market would not waver despite the change in leadership.
