The creator of Tron (TRX), Justin Sun, is rewarding the hacker who took advantage of the Poloniex exchange for $125 million in cryptocurrency with a 5% white hat bounty.
The hacker has one week to accept the offer and restore the assets to the wallets he stole them from, according to Sun, who purchased Poloniex in 2019. If not, law police will need to become involved.

PeckShield, a cybersecurity company, reports that the cyberthief took stole $56 million in Ethereum (ETH), $48 million in TRX, and $18 million in Bitcoin (BTC), the leading cryptocurrency.
The malicious actor also took several other cryptocurrency assets, such as the well-known memecoin Shiba Inu (SHIB) and stablecoins Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC), according to blockchain tracking company Lookonchain.
Furthermore, Lookonchain discovers that the hacker was rushing and unintentionally burned the tokens by sending $2.5 million worth of the digital asset Golen (GLM) to the incorrect address.
Sun continues by promising that Poloniex would work with other exchanges to retrieve the assets and properly repay the cash that were stolen.
