Fiona O’Loughlin, 57, looks UNRECOGNISABLE on The Project

Is it really you? Australian comedian Fiona O’Loughlin, 57, shocks with dramatic transformation… and you’ll NEVER guess what she looks like now

She one of the most well known faces in Australian comedy.

But Fiona O’Loughlin, 57, looked completely unrecognisable during an appearance on The Project on Tuesday, as she debuted her drastic makeover to the nation.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star ditched her long, brown locks in favour of a sassy new peroxide blonde pixie cut for the interview.

The mum-of-five teamed her look with a pair of thick rimmed black glasses, looking worlds away from what she did even just a few months prior.

The now blonde bombshell didn’t hold back when she discussed her new autobiography on the show, titled Truths from an Unreliable Witness: Finding Laughter in the Darkest of Places, which is released on October 27.

During the chat, Fiona discussed on the heartbreaking moment she relapsed during her stint on I’m A Celebrity back in 2018 – which led her to drink hand sanitiser to halt her cravings for alcohol.

‘I shouldn’t laugh at that. But, yeah, that was probably the toughest [moment to write about]’ she said.

‘That’s kind of what I wanted to really drive home (in the autobiography), is part of this disease that people don’t really understand, the cruelty of it is when you’re in it is the relapsing.’

She then confirmed that she is now ‘completely sober’, leading host Waleed Aly to ask: ‘Why should we believe you this time?’

She responded: ‘It doesn’t matter whether you do or not! I know my sober day is the 17th December 2019.

‘I wish I could say it was 2016, but it wasn’t. But I totally get where you’re coming from.’
